Resolution approving the sale of one County owned delinquent tax parcel, acquired from Shelby County Trustee tax sale to identified purchaser at $150,000.00 pursuant to the sale provisions of Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 67-5-2507, and authorizing the Shelby County Mayor to execute a quit claim deed. Sponsored by Commissioner Chris Thomas. (DEFERRED IN APRIL 23, 2014 COMMITTEE MEETING)

 

2.

A resolution approving the conveyance of two unimproved parcels of County owned delinquent tax property to Cane Creek Baptist Church, a Tennessee Not-For-Profit Corporation, for nominal consideration; and to authorize the Mayor to execute quit claim deeds. Sponsored by Commissioner Chris Thomas.

 

3.

Resolution approving the sale of forty County owned delinquent tax parcels, acquired from various Shelby County Trustee tax sales to identified purchasers at various prices collectively totaling $106,750.00, pursuant to the sale provisions of Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 67-5-2507, and authorizing the Shelby County Mayor to execute quit claim deeds. Resolution to amend the FY14 Shelby County Sheriff's Office Operating Budget to accept additional grant funds in the amount of $100,000.00 from the Tennessee Governor's Highway Safety Office for the period of October 1, 2013 through September 30, 2014. This item requires the appropriation of Federal through State Grant Funds in the amount of $70,000.00. Sponsored by Commissioner Sidney Chism.

1.

Resolution amending the FY 2014 Capital Improvement Budget and approving a contract between Shelby County Government and B Four Plied, Inc. for providing construction services for roof replacement at 1075 Mullins Station Road. This item requires expenditure of County Capital Improvement Program Funds in the amount of $1,700,773.00 and appropriates said funds. 2.

Resolution approving a contract between Shelby County Government and CS3, Inc. for providing construction services for HVAC retrofit, Phase 1 at 201 Poplar Avenue. This item requires expenditure of County Capital Improvement Program Funds in the amount of $483,841.00 and appropriates said funds. Sponsored by Commissioner Walter Bailey.
